Welcome to Self-Organising Networks 2010
Informa is proud to be launching its first conference focusing specifically on Self-Organising Networks (SON). The conference will focus on the challenges that operators face with current optimisation techniques and how SON features and network intelligence can lead to better network planning, capacity and traffic management, effective scheduling, self healing of the network and a net cost reduction on the amount that operators currently spend on O&M.
Self-Organising Networks 2010 will be the only event to bring together the entire SON ecosystem and we look forward to welcoming over 150+ attendees
Key topics on the agenda will be:
- Introducing "Plug & Play" Basestations to Improve Operational Efficiency
- Automating Parameters and KPIs to Optimise Handover Performance
- Moving the Self Organization Paradigm into the Core
- ANR for Effective Network Planning and Finding Gaps in Network Coverage
- Current Limitations of Network Intelligence - Understanding How the Ability to Make the Right Decisions for Network Rollout is Key
- Managing Traffic in the Network Through Load Balancing Techniques
- Utilising Frequency Reuse for Intelligent Scheduling
- Automating Interference Management in the Network
- Challenges of Introducing SON into the Network - Evaluating the Phased Approach
- Deploying Multi Vendor SON Solutions - Managing Multiple Use Cases in the Network
- Examining the Hybrid Solution for SON - Does it Offer the Highest Level of Flexibility to the Operator?
- What Adaptations Need to be Made to SON for Femtocells?
- Implementing SON Features in Legacy 2G and 3G Networks
- What Happens if it Doesn't Work? Trusting SON to do the Right Thing
